We really enjoyed our stay! Me and my mom stayed for five days, the overall experience was good and we really enjoyed the facilities like the hot tub and gym. Although we enjoyed our stay, it was quite underwhelming for the amount that we payed, especially since we didn't even go during the long weekend. Some things that would make this better would be a free breakfast service and a laundry service/laundromat, along with having better coffee machines in the rooms.

I am absolutely impressed with this location. I loved the unique and chic decor here. Staff from reception to housekeeping were welcoming friendly. I would like to recognize Jith and Darren who were professional, attentive and accommodating to my needs and requests throughout my stay. The room was clean and spacious. My kids absolutely loved the pool with the slide here. This will definitely be our go to hotel the next time we are in NS.

This is a really lovely hotel. The bed is so comfortable, I slept better than I do at home. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. There's lots of parking. The pool is really nice, but small, and there were too many people there at the time for me to fully enjoy it, but it is a nice amenity. Loved having a Denny's attached and to be able to walk across the parking lot to a Tim Hortons. Can easily fill up your rental car in the gas station in the lot as well. Very convenient. The hotel is so cute, love the artwork and design of the place. Staff were very friendly. Overall this was such a nice stay and probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in.. made my trip to NS very comfortable. Thank you ?

I had a fantastic stay at the Sandman ! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. A special thank you to Jasleen for providing exceptional customer service. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and genuine hospitality really stood out and made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Sandman Hotel , and I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in the area!

The employees are like most now and pretend like you don’t exist I got my room switched cuz of 3 mice I found running around the room…. I happened to left my Lululemon hoodie and a nice pair of pants in my old room 306 and I asked the staff Friday night to grab it for me , Saturday morning , lunch and then supper and on Sunday before leaving all said there was a note made and no note was ever made they checked an old couple into my old room 306 the same night we found the mouse, nice to eyes this hotel was but everything about the staff was terrible no patience, barely even spoke English will be coming back to Halifax in the future. Do not stay at the sandman

Spent the weekend at the Sandman Hotel in Dartmouth and was super impressed with the suite. It was spacious, modern, clean, great amenities and quite impressive. Loved the finishing touches and fine details in the room such as noting which pillows are soft and firm, two-ply toilet paper, the makeup wipes, the shower was incredible, the wireless phone charger and the amazing quality towels and robes for use. My son loved the water slide - don’t forget to turn on the water before going on the slide. The gym was also impressive with 4 treadmills. The front desk was great checking in and out. The location was ok but you definitely need a car to get around. The 24-hour Denny’s was also nice since everything closes early in the area. Overall, very impressed with the hotel.

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Close to everything you need. Staff were very friendly. Cleanliness was off the chart. The attached restaurant and bar are fantastic if you want to stay in and relax. The pool and gym area were also well maintained.

We had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, the suite had lots of room and well supplied. The towels were always stocked quickly at the pool. Pool itself was cold but didn’t stop the kids from going in. It would be nice if a discount was offered at Denny’s.

Impressed with this hotel, had a great stay and will stay again for sure. We had to give 4 star due to checkout staff not being very sympathetic to the fire alarms going off through the night with our newborn baby and family. She didn’t seem apologetic just wanted us to finish checking out but she might have had quite a few other families asking why and what happened.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, very clean, modern and well laid out. I loved the washroom (although I could not for the life of me figure out how to use the rain head of the shower) The restaurant and bar provided great service and food as well and the hot tub was lovely. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the fire alarm went off at 1am and then again at 8am. Which isn't the hotel's fault at all, but the whole point of going there was to sleep in a quiet environment. I'd still definitely go back and highly recommend anyone else to it
